George Molnar Sr., 93, of Morgantown went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 11, 2018. He was born July 26, 1925 to the late John and Mary (Copar) Molnar in National, WV.
He is survived by a son, Keith Molnar and spouse Nancy of Farmington, MN; grandchildren, Than and spouse Betsy Buda of Washington, PA, Lael and spouse Michael Day of Greensville, SC, Brandon Molnar and spouse Emily of Savage, MN and Cameron Molnar of Olathe, KS; and three great-grandchildren, Kai, Taj, Koa; son in law, Russell Buda. He was a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews.
George was a WWII veteran. He served in the Marines and toured in the Pacific Ocean. He retired from United Postal Service with over 20 years of service. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Myrtle Beach, their special place.

In lieu of flower, donations in George’s honor may be made to Covenant Evangelical Methodist Church, 802 Green Bag Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508.
Family and friends will be welcomed at Fred Jenkins Funeral Home Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Rev. Nate Williamson and Rev. Sean Wightman. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
