Genevieve F. Kisner

Genevieve F. "Jenny" Kisner, 96, of Cheat Lake, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, at her niece's home in Point Marion. She was born October 1, 1917 in Cheat Lake, a daughter of the late Andrew Clark Llewellyn and Mary Frances (Beatty) Lewellyn. Jenny was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Methodist Church in Cheat Lake. She is survived by two sons, Richard Kisner of Hartly, DE and Kenneth Kisner of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Retha Jakeway of Kalispell, MT; grandsons, Shane Kisner, Brian Kisner, Travis Jakeway; and five great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Arleigh Kisner; a son, Roger Kisner; two grandsons, Shawn Kisner and Richard Kisner Jr.; and numerous brothers and sisters, including a twin brother at birth. A graveside service will be held at Fletcher Cemetery, Cheat Lake, on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, In Memory of Shawn Kisner, 8001 Franklin Farms Drive #139, Richmond, VA 23229.
