Gary Mcdonald

Gary Lee McDonald, 60 of Beulah Rd., Morgantown passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at his home that he shared with his loving wife ,Linda of 40 years. He was born in Morgantown on February 17, 1950, the son of the late John Calvin McDonald and Geraldine "Minnie" Maxon McDonald. He is survived by his wife Linda Kay McDonald, four sons John and wife Kerri of Beulah Rd., James and wife Lisa of Dellslow, Joseph and wife Cindy of Terra Alta, and Jerry and wife Rachel of Richard. Also surviving are 4 grandsons Zachary Shrout and fiancée' Jessica, John McDonald, Adam McDonald and Trevor McDonald, one granddaughter Samantha McDonald, one great granddaughter Abaigal Shrout. One brother Roger and wife Donna of Beulah Rd. Gary worked 34 years at the Davis Lynch Glass factory. He was a loving and proud husband and father. His family was his life. One of his life's greatest blessings was his grandchildren and his love for fishing with his special friends Mitch and Karen. He also had a very special place in his heart for his two cockatiels, Katie and Pettey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Linda McDonald 622 Beulah Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508 to help with the funeral cost. Friends may call at the Nicholson Church Thursday, January 27, from 2pm until the time of funeral services at 1pm Friday. Burial will follow in the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
