Gary K. Larew, 72, of Lake Lynn, PA, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. Gary received his miracle of healing from The Great Physician & will forever be with his Lord & Savior. He was born October 4, 1948, & grew up in Newburg, WV.

Gary was a 1966 graduate of Newburg High School, where he was named to the All-State Basketball Team his Senior year. He went on to graduate from Mountain State College in Parkersburg, WV. Gary retired as a business owner of Warsinsky Decorators 10 years ago & previously worked at Houze Glass & Rockwell for a number of years. He was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church.

Gary was an avid hunter & fisherman, but mostly just enjoyed the outdoors & spending time with his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth & Frances Larew; sister Rita Lambert & infant daughter Rachel.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathryn ‘Kitty’ Lenhart Larew; sons Michael Larew & wife Tara of Smithfield, PA, Mathew Larew & wife Lauren of Lake Lynn, PA, daughters, Kelly Mayhew & husband Rick of Morgantown & Michelle Kennedy & husband Chris of Lake Lynn, PA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Logan & Garrett Mayhew, Sydney & Lena Larew, Mara & Myla Larew, & Ethan & Paige Kennedy; special nephew Ryan Howell & his daughter Leah; numerous nieces & nephews; one brother Marvin Larew & wife Karen; sister, Marsha Channel & husband John & Gary’s fur baby, Lexi.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home from 4 PM until 8 PM & again on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM with Chaplain Wendy Browne officiating. Gary will be laid to rest at the Zion Cemetery, Cheat Lake. Face coverings & distancing will be requested during the visitation & funeral.
