Garnet Gail Dalton

Garnet Gail Dalton, 78 of Mountainview Road, Morgantown passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the residence of her daughter, Susan Hilling surrounded by her family. She was born April 16, 1934 in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Ray and Josie Eleanor Summers. Garnet was a member of the Mt. View Pentecostal Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by husband Raymond Dalton; three daughters and their husbands Deborah and Darrell Dalton, Susan and Donald "Pork" Hilling and Lisa and James Hilling all of Morgantown; five brothers and spouses Ray Summers, Jr., and Audrey, Fred and Norma Summers, Denzil Summers, Blaine and Rhonda Summers and Dewain and Peg Summers all of Morgantown; four sisters and spouses Ilene and Roger Goodwin, Darlene and James Woody, Lois Dalton all of Morgantown, and Sandra and Gilbert Dalton of Reedsville; grandchildren Justin Dalton, Thadius Dalton, Dalton Hilling and Alexis Hilling. Also surviving is an aunt, Glenna Tonkin of Girard, Ohio, sisters in law Margaret Summers, Audrey "Sis" McMillen, a sister and brother in law Laura and Darris Lewis all of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, Garnet was preceded in death by a grandson Aaron Hilling; brother, Ralph Summers; sister and brother in law, Pauline and Glenn O. Dalton Sr.; brothers in law, Keith Dalton and Paul McMillen and a sister in law Shirley Summers. Friends may call at the Mt. View Pentecostal Church, Mountain View Road on Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 3pm until time of services at 11am Wednesday with Pastors Elmer Scoop' Nicholson and Norma Stimmell officiating.
