Franklyn Rugh

Franklyn David Rugh, 63 of Cheat Neck, WV passed away at his home on Saturday January 26, 2013. He was born June 18, 1949 in Morgantown, son to the late Franklyn P. and Anna M. Myers Baker Rugh. David owned and operated Independent Auto Body. Prior to opening his own business he worked at various auto body shops in the Morgantown and Masontown, PA areas. His peers would agree that he was the best body man in the tri-state area. David is survived by his wife Rita Lewellyn; daughter Brandi Rugh and husband Richard Boggs and three grandchildren, Alexander, Alivia and Ashton Boggs all of Cheat Neck. Also surviving are many cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother James Baker and numerous aunts and uncles. Honoring David's wishes cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Friends may call at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday January 31, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A memorial service will be held at the Cheat Lake United Methodist Church on Friday Feb. 1, 2013 at 11am with Rev. Michael Rowe officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mon County Humane Society P.O. Box 390 Morgantown, WV 26507-0390 and /or the Cheat Lake UMC 750 Fairchance Road, Morgantown, WV 26505.
