Franklin Andrew Cochran, 80, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Stonerise Morgantown. He was born at home in Granville on November 12, 1940, son of the late Thomas and Ruth Cochran. As a young man, he served the Volunteer Fire Department in Granville. Frank was a graduate of University High School Class of 1959. On August 18, 1963, he married his high school sweetheart Andrea Buck. Frank followed his passion as a bricklayer and was President of the Local #15 for several years and was a 50 year Gold Card Member. He also served many years at Cheat Lake V.F.D as a safety officer, also earning Fireman of the Year Award. He would constantly feed the birds, deer including baby Bambi, wild turkeys, and babies, as well as squirrels and rabbits. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Derrick Andrew Cochran, who he was very proud of, especially his 9-year service to our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, earning the rank of Sgt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, and a sister. Friends and family will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, from 4-8 pm and again on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am with Pastor Rena Perozich officiating.
