Floyd Junior Everson

Floyd Junior Everson, 82 of Snake Hill Road Morgantown passed away Wednesday March 2, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Floyd was born May 27, 1928 in Masontown, WV son of the late Virginia Everson. Floyd retired from Sterling Faucet with more than 42 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and camp. Floyd is survived by his wife of 60 years Jean Cobb Everson; one son Danny Everson and wife Emma; daughters, Barbara Molisee and husband Dewey, Gloria Sanders and husband Luther all of Snake Hill Road, Morgantown and Carolyn Johnson and husband John of Bretz, WV. Also surviving are three brothers Richard Everson of Morgantown, Butch Cogar and wife Barb of Kingwood, WV and Roger Cogar of Kingwood, WV; sister Jane Terrant of Pittsburgh, PA; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his mother Floyd was preceded in death by one brother Lawrence Everson. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday March 4, 2011 from 5-7pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Masontown, WV.
