Florence Elizabeth Wolfe

Florence Elizabeth Wolfe, 90, went to be with her Lord, Friday, December 1st surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 8, 1927 to the late James Hilling and Mora Robey.

Florence enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She was a state yodeling champion, sang on the radio, and accompanied her father on the court house square. Florence was a dedicated mother and wife.

She is survived by her children; Valerie Gutta, Harry Wolfe and spouse Alice, James “Jim” and spouse Nancy, Carolyn Cobb and spouse Gale, David and spouse Peggy, Darlene Rife and spouse David, Kerry and spouse Tricia; and over sixty grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great children.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Harry S. Wolfe.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Monday, December 4th from 4pm until 8pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday, December 5th from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Rev. Gale Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery.
