Flora Agnes Scire

F. Agnes “Maggie” Scire, 89 of Evergreen Assisted Living, formerly of Plantation Dr., Morgantown passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born August 14, 1920 in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Goldie M. Jones St. Clair. Maggie was a former employee of the dietary department at WVU and former owner of Johnnie’s Texaco over cheat. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands Judith Ann Justus and husband Robert of Morgantown, Charlotte M. Long and husband Douglas of Cheat Lake and Josephine Goldring and husband James of Michigan. One brother Bill St.Clair of Ohio. 8 grandchildren Robert, Randall and Ryan Justus, Carla Bate, Jennifer Cassino, Nathan Scire, Christina Goldring and Julie Miller, One step granddaughter Michelle Gillespie. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, John Scire, 2 daughters Geraldine Scire and Elaine Blosser, Brothers Herbert and Leonard and Paul and Donnie who died in infancy and one sister Flo Jones. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 6-9pm and on Saturday from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Rev. Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the East Oak Grove Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Richard Gais and the 6th floor staff at Mon General Hospital.
