Fannie Lee Jefferson Mosley Malone

September 9, 1930 — February 14, 2016

Fannie Lee Jefferson Mosley Malone, went home to be with the Lord, at the age of 85, on Sunday evening, February 14, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Joshua Jefferson, Sr. and Margaret Thomas Jefferson, she was born September 9, 1930 in Osage, WV.

Fannie was a Baptist by faith and was a member of St. Stephens Baptist Church of Shriver, WV, for many years and the Jesus Mission of Osage.

Fannie was employed by West Virginia University Hospital, from which she retired after many years of dedication and excellent performance of her responsibilities.

Joshua and Margaret had twelve children of which Fannie was the youngest. She had six brothers and five sisters all whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Malone in May 1986. Fannie had five children of which one son, Kenneth Malone preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to mourn; one daughter, Gloria Jean Barnett; three sons and their spouses, James Ronald Mosley and his wife Dena, Jeffery David Mosley and Richard Albert Malone and his wife Sherry. She leaves nine grandchildren; Glynis Rochelle Barnett, Penny Coleman, Kevin Bradley, Shawn Mosley, Ronald Mosley, Cameron Harker, Lisa Riffle, Jeanie M. Brown and Baleigh Malone. Grandson Shawn Mosley preceded Fannie in death on October 6, 2013.

She also leaves behind to mourn ten great grandchildren; Quincy Hughes, Gina Coleman, Ebony Coleman, Nicole Coleman, Dominque Bradley, Aiden Bradley, Derek Bradley, Kyla Riffle, Kaylee Riffle and Hadley Harker. Fannie also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews and a large extended family and many friends.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday, from 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service with Pastor Gwendolyn McKinley officiating. Burial will follow in the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
