Eugene H. Jackson

Eugene H. Tad' Jackson, 66, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday November 13, 2013 at his home. He was born April 24, 1947 in Fairmont, a son of the late Hershall and Evelyn Cora Jackson. Tad was employed by Eastern Associated Coal and retired from the Miracle Run Mine in Blacksville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drawing. He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon Jackson; four sons Dewight Jackson and wife Jerilyn, Jeff Jackson, Tad Jackson and wife Heidi, Greg Shaver and wife Tammy; grandchildren Mariah Jackson, Tristan Jackson, Peyden Jackson, Gregory Shaver, Kristin Nicholson, Lauren Shaver, Layla Jackson; and a great granddaughter Nevaeh Shaver all of Morgantown. Tad is also survived by a brother Virgil Jackson; and three sisters Ethel Neer, Joann Gaskill all of Morgantown, and June Atkins of California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday November 15, 2013 from 7-9pm and again on Saturday from 12pm until the time of funeral services at 1pm with Pastor Norma Stimmell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
