Etley Price Jenkins, Jr.

CMSgt Etley Price Jenkins, Jr., (U.S. Air Force Ret.), 57, of Yorktown, VA passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. Born in Fairmont, WV, he has been a resident of the Peninsula for 28 years. Etley retired from the Air Force in 2004 after 28 years which included service during the Vietnam War. After retirement, he began work for CGI as an Asset Manager. Surviving are his wife, Darla Lynn Cooley Jenkins; daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Jenkins Reuter and her husband Nick of Virginia, and Alison Marie Jenkins also of Virginia; sister, Mary Beth Caplan and her husband David of Morgantown, WV; One grandson on the way, Branson Price Reuter; mother-in-law, Deanna Cooley; aunt and uncle, Mr. And Mrs. Chet Wright and nephews and niece Josh Caplan and wife Cassie and their son Wyatt, Jake Caplan and his wife Shanna and their son Colby all of Morgantown, and Katie Halin and husband Matt of Midlothian, VA. The family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday March 1, 2013 from 9am-11am. Graveside services will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Richard Work officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his mother, father, and grandparents at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family requests, in memory of Etley, that no black be worn to the service.
