Erin Trickett

Erin Trickett, 40, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday July 10, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 11, 1978 in Morgantown a daughter of Joseph Toothman and the late Sharon Morris.

Erin worked for West Virginia University as an executive administrative assistant with the Air Force ROTC. In her spare time she enjoyed baking and cooking. She loved her cats, but most importantly she relished spending time with her family and friends. She also loved listening to music and going to concerts. She recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of going to a Willie Nelson concert.

She is survived by her son, who was her pride and joy, Seth Trickett; sister Shea Stackpole and husband Jason; longtime companion Rob Parsons and his daughter Summer Parsons and his mother Janice Laurie; her son’s father Steve Trickett and wife Stacey Trickett; her former mother and father-in –law Kathy and Jerry Trickett; sisters-in-law Vickie Trickett; Jennifer Martin and husband Jimmy; Lee Ann Fox and husband Charlie; her lifelong friend Joanna Deuesenberry and family; aunt Shirley Martin and husband John Lucas; uncle Everett Morris; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that became family.

Honoring Erin’s wishes cremation has been provided by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday July 15, 2019 from 1pm until the time of memorial service at 5pm.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff with WV Caring, WVU Hospital, Fresenius Kidney Care for the wonderful care and support given to Erin.
