Emma Loretta Phillips

Emma L. Phillips, 87, of Morgantown passed away Saturday March 24, 2012 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born May 24, 1924 in Morgantown a daughter to the late Pastor Frank and Marie Hilling. She worked as an edger at Beaumont Glass Factory for over 30 years. Emma is survived by two sons Andrew Phillips Jr. and wife Thi of Morgantown, James Phillips Sr. and wife Mary of Waynesburg, PA, and; grandsons James Phillips Jr. and wife Cathy, Ed Phillips and wife Becky all of Morgantown, Joe Phillips of Jefferson, PA; great grandchildren Joey, Mitch, Cody, Abby, Brooke, and Shelby; sister Violet Hagedorn and brother Delbert Hilling of Morgantown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Phillips Sr. from Uniontown, PA; and sisters Jessie Zielinski and Mora Hart of Morgantown. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday March 27, 2012 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm and again on Wednesday from 9:30am until time of funeral services at 10:30am with Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
