Emma Musick Pensule

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Emma Musick Pensule passed away peacefully at 88 years of age. Emma was born Emma Ellen Musick on November 27, 1933 in Cleveland, Virginia.

She was the daughter of the late Brady Musick and Dellie Jessee Musick.

At an early age, Emma and her family moved to Carswell Hollow, Kimball, WV, where she later met her future husband, Frank Pensule, Sr. The couple was blessed with many years of marriage until Frank’s passing on December 5, 2007. In 2016, Emma moved to Bruceton Mills, WV, where she spent her remaining years spoiling great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Emma was preceded in death by two sons, Frank, Jr and Michael Pensule, three brothers (Frank, Tom & John Musick), and one sister (Kay Musick Thompson).

She is survived by two grandchildren, Robert (Heather) Pensule of Fort Mill, SC and Michelle Pensule Martin (Chad) of Bruceton Mills, WV, four great-grandchildren, Tyler & Ava Pensule and Gage & Ragan Martin, one brother (Gene Musick), and one sister (Sue Musick Dillon).

Emma was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister-in-law, grandmother, aunt, neighbor, and friend. While her absence is felt deeply, her legacy will live in the hearts of all who cherished her.

Emma was laid to rest beside her husband in a private service at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV. Arrangements were entrusted to the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home of Morgantown, WV.
