On May 2, 2019 Emma Lou Hewitt Wujcik was reunited with her husband Andrew W. Wujcik. She was born on July 22, 1941 in Morgantown, WV to the late George Abraham and Leigh Grace Hewitt. Emma Graduated from UHS and worked at Sterling Faucet, a nurse at WVU hospital, a coal miner, and many years as a farmer. Emma enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting and volunteering at Retails by Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program (M-Snap). She was also a member of the Monongalia County CEOS and Quilters on the Run organizations. Emma Lou is survived by her three daughters Christine A. Riley and husband Herbert D. Riley Jr., Eva Lee Simmons and husband Edward J. Simmons, and Kimberly E. White and husband Walter "Pete" White; seven grandchildren Herbert Dallas Riley III "Dallas", Todd Michael Bolden Jr., Rachael A. Bigelow and husband Micah M. Bigelow, Nicholas Aaron Riley and Courtney J. Porter, Joshua Garrett Taylor, Sierra Nicole Taylor, and Alexis Earle and husband Derick Earle; three great grandchildren, Zayla Eileen Bigelow, Zephaniah Markeith Bigelow, and Zakari Abel Bigelow; one sister Linda Samsell; two brothers George and Richard Hewitt, and her beloved dog Cookie. In addition to her parents, Emma Lou is preceded in death by her loving husband Andrew Walter Wujcik; one sister Effie Lambert; and her pug named Pugsley. A gathering will be held for friends and family at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11am with Rev. Junius Lewis officiating.
