Eldon R. Conrad

Eldon Reed Butch' Conrad, 66, of Hacker Valley, WV passed away Tuesday July 30, 2013 at his home. He was born June 14, 1947 in Morgantown a son of the late John B. and Monica V. Warnick Conrad. Eldon was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and planting a garden. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Darlene Casteel Conrad; two children John Conrad and wife Amy of Hancock, MD, Sharon Caudill and husband Arlie of Partlow, VA; grandchildren John Conrad, Nathan Conrad, Justin Conrad, Derek Brewer, and Megan Brewer all of Morgantown; step-grandchildren Zech Turner of Morgantown, Corey Lease, Tyler Lease of Flinstone, MD, Mikaela Lease of Hancock, MD, Chase Caudill Andrea Caudill, Channing Caudill, Chandler Caudill, Brook Caudill all of Arkansas; great grandchildren Benjamin Conrad, Michael Conrad, Jayce Shaffer, Mikhail Shaffer, Zech Turner Jr., siblings Harry Conrad and wife Joyce, Ina Lamp all of Morgantown, and Emma Jean Posey of Florida. Eldon is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 16 siblings. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Thursday August 1, 2013 from 11am-1pm and 7-9pm and again on Friday from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am with Major Linda Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
