Eileen Virginia St. Clair, 83 of Evergreen Assisted Living, previously Baker's Ridge passed away Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born July 18, 1928 in Morgantown the daughter of the late George and Lena Smith Black. Eileen worked 16 years at the Morgan Manor Nursing home and was the first nurse's aide to retire from there. Surviving are daughters Deloris Brand Ratliff and husband Anthony, Patty Brand Orinick and husband Andrew, Peggy St. Clair Alley and husband Michael and Debbie St. Clair Hamrick and husband Todd; grandchildren, William Ratliff and wife Patti, Tammy Ratliff Salisbury and partner Gary Niels, Lori Orinick Choate and husband Wiley, Matthew Orinick and wife Paula, Michael Alley, Jr., Scott Hamrick and Caroline Hamrick. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren Elizabeth Jane Salisbury, Travis Orinick, Forrest Ratliff and Allison Choate. In addition to her parents Eileen was preceded in death by husbands Dudley L. St. Clair in 1998 and Warren E. Brand in 1956; beloved brother and sister Frank Black and Thelma Black Henry. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday March 30, 2012 from 5-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Casey Shorr officiating.
