Effie Jeanette Boggs

Effie Jeanette Sis' Boggs, 68, of Morgantown passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 10, 2013 at her home. She was born October 3, 1944, in Spencer, WV a daughter to the late Howard and Amma Simons Boggs. Sis worked as a housekeeper for various hotels and restaurants in the Morgantown area. She loved to read, sight seeing and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her daughter Ginger Boggs and granddaughter Josie Hamrick both of Morgantown; one brother Harley Boggs and wife Helen of Mannington, WV and sister Virginia Mace and husband Bob of Elyria, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Buster Brown Boggs and Okey Thomas Boggs. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 South High Street Morgantown, WV 26501 on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 10am - 12 noon. Graveside services will take place at 3pm Saturday with Pastor Paul Drake officiating at the Clover Cemetery, Roane County, WV.
