Edward Carl Metheny

On November 8th, 2020 Edward (Ed) Metheny, 65, of Masontown, WV passed from this world and into the arms of his Heavenly Father for eternity. The son of Edward & Ruth Metheny of Reedsville,WV, Ed was married to his loving wife Anna (Upole) Metheny and would have celebrated their 47th anniversary on the day of his passing. Ed and Anna have a daughter, and three grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Having a deep and abiding love for the Lord, Ed was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship on Grafton Rd in Morgantown. He also enjoyed tinkering in his garage building birdhouses, and spending time with their dogs. He was preceded in death by his beloved Great Dane, Sassy. Ed is survived by his wife Anna, of the home, a daughter, Carla King of Morgantown & her three children Cyrena, Vanden & Cheyenne. Ed was also survived by a sister, Linda Shaffer & husband Bernie of Reedsville and a brother, Joe Keenan & wife Eileen of Westminster, Maryland . Celebration of life will be held at a later date for family.
