Edward Fumich

Edward Fumich, 71, died on July 3, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Ed was born December 16, 1943, near Morgantown, WV, the youngest son of George Fumich, Sr. and Madeline Sekeres Fumich. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brothers, George, William, and Steve Fumich. Ed is survived by his sister, Mary Murphy of Barboursville, WV and her daughters, Joan Kingery, Mary Beth Mullins, and Cindy Manning; his brothers, Anthony Fumich of Westover and Joseph Fumich of Grand Blanc, MI. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Mary Fumich of Pursglove and Sally Fumich of Michigan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ed lived many years at Colin-Anderson Center in St. Marys, WV and for the last 20 years at the VOCA 8th Avenue Home in Huntington, WV. The family is grateful for the care Ed received from the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit staffs at Cabell-Huntington Hospital as well as the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington in the last days of his life. The family suggests donations in Ed's memory to Hospice of Huntington, Inc., PO Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709 Attn: Development Department; or a charity of your choice. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 1pm at East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, WV with Father Andy Switzer officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
