Edna Maine

Edna (McCabe) Maine, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday May 23, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born February 8, 1949 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late James Robert and Easter Belle McCabe.

Edna worked for 44 years with Monongalia County Schools as a secretary at Vo Tech. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing and camping in Romney. She loved all of her family and her extended family at Wapocoma Campground in Romney. Most of all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband Allen Maine; daughter Robyn McDaniel and husband Jim; grandchildren Nathan McDaniel, Alanna McDaniel all of Morgantown; sisters Sally Nestor and husband Terry of Morgantown, Terriann Massullo of Cripple Creek, CO; brother Kramer McCabe and wife Dottie of Morgantown; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Bobby McCabe.

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday May 27, 2019 from 4-8pm and again on Tuesday from 11am until the time of funeral services at 12pm with Pastor Robert McCabe officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
