Edna Grace Brady

Edna Grace Brady, 61, of Waynesboro, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Edna was born in Rising Sun, MD on September 1, 1961 to the late Clarence and Doris Brady.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence Brady Jr., Carl Brady, & Billy Brady; and sister Diane Binion.

She is survived by her children, Anne Brienza, Leda Brienza, and Mark Brienza; sisters, Miriam, Mary Jane, Jeanne, and Caroline; her treasured companion dog Fergie; nine rescue cats, and numerous grand-cats.

Edna had a deep passion for all things colorful; she was an avid artist, often finding antiques to restore with her own special touch. She loved spending time at the beach whenever she could, but while closer to home, Edna was happy to be out hiking, white water rafting, or horseback riding at the Shining Stars Therapeutic Farm in Gettysburg. Her love of animals was well-known, as she could often be found volunteering at her local animal shelter while away from the many rescue cats she cared for at home. Edna could always see the good in any situation, and that special quality is one of the many things about her that will be missed by the ones she cared about the most.

Friends & family are invited to gather at the Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 4-8 PM and again on Tuesday, January 10 from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM with Reverend Mike Brown officiating. In addition to flowers, the family requests you consider making a donation to your local animal shelter in Edna’s memory.
