Edith Jean Starz

Edith "Edie" Jean Starz, 75, of Morgantown formerly of Waynesburg, PA passed away Sunday August 3, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Nevitte Schultz of Waynesburg, PA and the late Charles A. Schultz of Hundred, WV. Edith is survived by daughter Michelle (Mickey) and husband Kenny Kraley of North Carolina; grandson Billy Joe Vergil of Waynesburg; sister Marjorie Lee of Star City; two nieces, Judy Simon and husband Harry of Morgantown, Rebecca (Susie) and husband Norm Ferguson of Texas; Nephew James Miller of Morgantown; two step daughters Jessica Taylor , Tammy Hickman and husband David; one step-son Glenn Walls Jr and wife Kelley; an adopted son Chris Lowther; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Vergil, niece Elizabeth Smith; two aunts, Frances Gable and AnnaJean Hilling. She is also survived by her soul mate, muse, house-keeper and all-around best friend ever, Glenn Walls her loving care partner. Friends and Family will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday August 5, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Pastor Joseph Condalucci officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris, PA.
