Earl Benson Rogers, Jr.

Earl Benson Rogers, Jr., 55 of Morgantown passed away Thursday April 28, 2011 at his home. He was born August 12, 1955 in Morgantown a son to the late Earl and Barbara Burns Rogers. Earl loved his job as an operating engineer and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 132 in Clarksburg. He liked fishing and loved working on cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He is survived by three sons James Rogers, Steven Rogers, and Benson Rogers; a daughter Susan Corbin all of Morgantown; a brother Michael Rogers of Bobtown, PA; three sisters Martina Foy of Fairchance, PA, Rena Taft of Fairmont, and Diane Elias of Bruceton Mills; and 11 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Norma Johnson Rogers and a brother Mark Andrew Rogers. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday May 2, 2011 from 7-9pm and again on Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Rev. David Spence officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
