Dwight Anderson of Morgantown, WV, passed away in Morgantown at the age of 76. He was born in Philippi, WV, to the late William and Verdie Anderson.
Dwight is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Juanita Anderson; his children, Eddie Campbell (Becky), Anthony Anderson, Kimberly Carpenter (David), Diana Jones (Wes), and Theresa Cain (Eric); his siblings, Haverd "Bub" Anderson, Geneva Anderson, and Katie Anderson; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his ex-wife, Sunim Kim (Anderson); his brother, Charles Anderson; and his sisters, Louise Murphy, Janice Murphy, Louetta Murphy, Linda Anderson, and Barbara Johnson (Waybright).
Dwight dedicated much of his life to hard work, first as a telephone lineman and later at Walmart after his retirement. He found joy in the simple things-fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors. He was an avid bowler and a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the WVU Mountaineers. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
In accordance with Dwight's wishes, cremation services have been arranged by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
