Douglas Ervin Trickett

Douglas Ervin Doug' Trickett, 60, went to be with the Lord on Monday November 11, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 5, 1953 in Morgantown son to Russell E. Trickett and Betty M. Shroyer Trickett of Morgantown. Doug worked many years for Chico Dairy, later United Dairy as a delivery driver. He attended the Morgantown Revival Center. Doug was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents Doug is survived by his wife of 40 years Diann Trickett; three sons, Rev. Dana McKenzie and wife Julie, Christopher Trickett and wife Jenny and Russell Trickett and wife Rachel and one daughter, Tonya Posey and husband Gary all of Morgantown; eight grandchildren, Jessica and Brianna McKenzie, Brandy and Emily Cathell, Colton Yeager, Sierra Posey and Kayla and Austin Trickett. Also surviving are two sisters, Debra Starn and husband Rick of Fairmont, Amy Krutko and husband Andy of Morgantown and brother Rusty Trickett with Donna of Morgantown; and mother-in-law Mildred Skinner of Alabama and father-in-law the late Marvin Skinner. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday November 13, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm and again on Thursday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Dana McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Rt. 119, Morgantown. The family would like to thank the staff of Ruby Hospital, 8 North East for the excellent care and compassion.
