Douglas Raymond

Douglas LeRoy Raymond, age 66, of Morgantown, WV passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, May 11, 2023. He was the son of the late Elmer Raymond and Mary Uphold Raymond.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Norval, Clifford, Eugene, and James Raymond; five sisters, Mary Etta (Charles) Nolf, Alicia (David) Clemsic, Nancy (Sam) Newman, Cheryl Raymond, and Helen (Alfred) Duley.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Yvonne Raymond; his daughter, Kirsten Raymond (Cody McCauley); brother, Gary (Nora) Raymond; sisters, Darlene (Barry) Pallay, Kay (David) Bean, and Martha Raymond; sister-in-law, Jane Raymond; as well as his two grandchildren, Mason McCauley and Ava Cornwell.

Douglas was a hard worker, spending most of his life as a contractor doing just about anything and everything he was able to do. He loved being outside, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just admiring the scenery listening to some music. He also loved spending time with his two grandchildren, whom he held very close to his heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Cremation services have been entrusted to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
