Dorothy 'Dot' Blosser Bonnell

Dorothy "Dot" Blosser Bonnell, 80 of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. The daughter of the late Rev. Clyde and Stella Dalton Blosser, she was born April 23, 1940, in Morgantown. Dot was a member of the Apostolic Light House Church, pastored by her brother Rev. Gary Blosser. She retired from Morgan Shirt factory. Dot loved her family and helping others. Dot is survived by her siblings: Helen Mancini, Wanda Mathess and her husband, Jim, Gary Blosser and his wife, Bonnie, and Patty Samsell and her husband, George; her daughter in law, Susie Bonnell; granddaughter, Kristi Shaffer and her husband, Jon; great grandchildren, Emily and Tyler Shaffer; and her loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Bonnell; her son, Robert "Bobby" Bonnell; brothers, James, Harry, and Darrell Blosser; and a sister, Marge Nestor. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for the care and compassion given to Dot.
