Dorothea Virginia Richards, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg, PA. She was born December 4, 1933 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Clyde Stout, Sr. and Laura Audrey Stout.
Dorothea worked at Monongalia General Hospital as an X-Ray Technician until her retirement. In her spare time, she loved playing, and frequently winning at BINGO. Most of all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sisters Alma Jean Franks and husband Jim, Joretta Davis and husband Milford; her two daughters Anita Darlene Heater and husband Gerald, Joretta Jean Garret and husband Butch; son Clyde Kenneth Richards and wife Delores; and her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she cherished.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Eileen Stout, one brother Clyde Stout, Jr. and one daughter Evelyn Eileen Ammons.
Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday January 13, 2021 from 4 pm until the time of the service at 6pm. Honoring Dorothea’s wishes cremation will follow.
