Doris Lorraine Gray

Doris Lorraine Gray, age 73, of Morgantown passed away on Saturday September 1, 2012 after fighting lung cancer for 2 years. She was born on August 17, 1939 in Morgantown a daughter to the late John and Monica Warnick Conrad As a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Grafton, she spent many hours volunteering her time. She enjoyed every moment of life by cooking, telling jokes, and doing things for others. She was extremely loved by all and never knew a stranger. She was mom to everyone. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband William Laird Gray and 15 siblings. She is survived by three sons Carl Conrad and wife Tina, John Gray and wife Peggy all of Morgantown, William Gray IV and wife Patricia of Rineyville, KY; daughter Jodie Boggs and husband Scott of Morgantown; eight grandchildren James, Travis, Lyndsey, Milinda, Cheri, Carl II, Brad, and Stephanie; four great grandchildren Nathaniel, Alana, Christian, and Tyler; and two brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday September 4, 2012 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am with Major Linda Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Morgantown Hospice P.O. Box 4222 Morgantown, WV 26504.
