Doris Cosgray

Doris J. Cosgray, 78, of Morgantown passed away Tuesday September 17, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends, following a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born December 2, 1934 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Lewis and Hazel Parks Panrell. Doris loved to mow her yard. She was a devoted mother and best friend to all. She never knew a stranger. She is survived by two sons Bill Cosgray and daughter-in-law Suzanne, Christopher Cosgray; a grandson Christopher M. Cosgray; foster son Joseph Lawson; sister Phyllis Lawson; a niece Patricia Gordan and husband Alfred; and her favorite pet Pipi (Lamb Chop). In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years William P. Cosgray. To honor Doris' wishes there will not be any viewing or services. Cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
