Dora 'Catharine' Beall

Dora Catharine' Beall, 95, of Morgantown passed away Thursday November 20, 2014 at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born February 4, 1919 in Hagans, WV a daughter of the late John and Mary Hazel Michael Garrison. She was a graduate of Blacksville High School and faithfully attended her class reunions. Catharine was one of the oldest members of Goshen Baptist Church. She joined the church in 1957 and attended regularly as long as her health allowed. She was a deaconess, served on the Honorary Board of Servants, and a clerk at the church for six years. Catharine sang in the choir for many years and shared her beautiful alto voice. She was a faithful member of ABW for many years also. She is survived by a son Clifford Dalton; daughter Mary Boots' Braham both of Morgantown; grandchildren Alexis Dalton, Robbi Dalton, Jacob Dalton, Olivia Perrone, Marcie Elliott, Archie Humphreys and wife Erin, Jesse Dalton, and Dylan Dalton; a sister Marie Jones of Core; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband James Dalton; her second husband George Donald Beall; infant daughter Julia Ellen Dalton, two brothers and one sister. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday November 24, 2014 from 4-8pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday at Goshen Baptist Church from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
