Donna Vickers

Donna Snider Vickers, 45, of Morgantown formerly of Port St. Lucie, Fl passed away peacefully Friday September 10, 2010 at Ruby Memorial surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Donna was born December 14, 1964 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the daughter of Shirley Lipscomb Snider and the late Victor Snider. Donna was a medical transcriptionist who was employed by Probity Medical Transcription until her retirement in June 2010. Donna was deeply loved by so many people and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her in this life. In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her husband Wade Jackson Vickers of Fort Mill, SC; step daughter , Jessica Vickers of Brandon, Fl; sister Vicki Snider of Morgantown; Sister Diana Snider and companion Sam Hamrick of Morgantown; brother Jim Snider of Morgantown; brother Jeff Snider of Morgantown; nieces Corinne Snider, Gabrielle Snider and Holly Hamrick all of Morgantown; Mother in law Rebecca Barwick of Fort Mill ,SC; sister in law Chris Edwards and husband Aaron of Charlotte, NC; nephew Keith Lawrence of Charlotte, NC. In addition to her father, Donna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ervin and Lula Huffman Lipscomb and her paternal grandparents Leo and Nellie Dalton Snider;; Aunts Nancy Hines and Dorothy Williams and uncles Jim Williams and Virgil Snider. In keeping with Donna's wishes, a graveside celebration of Donna's life will be held at 3pm Sunday September, 12, at the Pisgah Cemetery, Rt. 73, Smithtown Road with Pastor Bennie Moran officiating.
