Donna Jean Nestor

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Jean Dunn Nestor, who left us on August 4, 2025, at the age of 73. She passed peacefully at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on September 8, 1951, in Morgantown, WV, the daughter of Eugene Dunn and Ruby Pearl Murray Dunn Austin, and Wayman Austin.

Donna lived a simple yet fulfilling life. A beloved homemaker, she dedicated her time to creating a warm and loving environment for her sons, Tracy and John, and was a source of unwavering support for all her family.

Donna cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her sons, John Nestor (Tracy Cline), and Tracy Nestor (Christine Rodriguez), alongside her grandchildren, John Paul Nestor, Jr. (Danielle Hamrick), Lillian Burdette (Trenton), Joshua Rodriguez, Audrianna Rodriguez, and Daniel Nestor; great-grandchildren, Silas Goff and Asher Kabiri.

She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Delmas "Bill" Dunn of Morgantown, as well as her sister Kathy (Mike) Brady, sisters-in-law Sue Austin, Kim Austin, and Janet Nestor, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Paul Nestor, Jr., her three brothers, Gary Dunn, Roger Austin, and Mike Austin.

Funeral services will be held to celebrate Donna's life and the joy she brought to those around her. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 4 - 8 PM and again on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM with Minister Michael Klink officiating. She will rest with her husband at Beverly Hills Cemetery. In true Donna fashion, we'll honor her simple joys and the love she shared with everyone she met.

Donna Jean Nestor will be missed dearly, but her light will forever shine in the hearts of her family and friends.
