Donna Jean Crawford

Donna Jean Crawford, 65, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. Donna was born January 13, 1950 in Valley Point, WV, daughter to Dorothy Sine and the late John Walls, both of Morgantown, WV. Donna's most cherished moments were enjoyed with the people closest to her. From earlier days spent sunbathing with her sisters, and shopping with her girlfriends; to later days spent dining with her fiancé, and building a special bond with her daughter and grandbaby; it was the simple things in life that brought her joy. After graduating from University High School, Donna attended Fairmont State University. Her passion for helping others drove her to serve as Certified Nursing Assistant at Ruby Memorial Hospital, of WVU Hospitals, for nearly thirty years. In addition to her mother, Dorothy Sine, Donna is survived by her fiancé, Henry Taylor of Morgantown, WV; her daughters Dee Crawford-Ross and her husband Jason Ross of Bixby, OK; and Sondra Brown and her fiancé Gabriele Policicchio of Morgantown, WV; and grandchildren Jarred Ross and Mila Policicchio. Donna is also survived by her brothers, Roger Walls of Morgantown, WV; Michael Walls of Morgantown, WV; and Terry Walls of Morgantown, WV; along with her sisters Judy McDonald of Masontown, PA; and Vickie Walls of Morgantown, WV; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, John Walls, Donna is preceded in death by her sister, Tina Jefferson. Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 4-8 p.m., and again on Friday, July 31, 2015, from 10 a.m. until funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Casey Shorr officiating. Burial will follow at the Eden United Methodist Church Cemetery; afterward, family and friends are invited to gather for a reception at Pierpont Church of the Nazarene.
