Donald Charles Summers

Donald Charles "Red" Summers, 45 of Mountainview Rd., Morgantown passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1965 in Morgantown, the son of the late Howard "Pood" and Beulah Murray Summers. He was employed for 16 years with Hilling Lumber, and for the last 5 years for Allegheny Lumber as a loader operator. He was a member of the Beagle Club and the Mt. Morris Sportsman Club. Red is survived by his wife Heidi Dalton Summers, a son Donald Charles "DJ" Summers Jr. of Morgantown, two brothers and their wives David and Noreen Summers and Kenneth and Lisa Summers both of Morgantown, two sisters Deborah Summers of Morgantown and Mary Alice Cress and husband Lee of Masontown,WV. In addition to his parents, Red was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Fred Summers and Mary Eunice Hart and maternal grandparents Elmer and Ella Murray and a nephew David Howard Summers. Friends may call at the Mt. View Pentecostal Church, Mt. View Rd., on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 11am until the time of services at 1pm Monday with Rev. Elmer Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on the Kingwood Pike. Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
