Donald Jeffrey McKane

Donald Jeffrey McKane, 71, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1955, in Port Jervis, NY, a son of the late Donald "Buck" and Lulabelle Conklin McKane.

Donald worked for Royal Furniture for ten years before enjoying his retirement. He moved to West Virginia two years ago, where he continued to pursue his love of the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, Donald especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping.

Donald had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his playful teasing, especially with those closest to him. Giving someone a hard time was often his way of showing affection, and those who knew him best understood that it always came from a place of love.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marion Annette Calarino McKane; his children, Skyler McKane and his wife, Kae, of Easton, PA, Donald L. McKane of Morgantown, and Miranda Mae McKane of Morgantown; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Willie McKane of Port Jervis, NY, and his sister, Linda, of Florida.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna.

Honoring Donald's wishes, services will be held privately. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 S. High St. Morgantown, WV  26501.
