Donald Eugene Bolyard

Donald Eugene Bolyard, 74, of Morgantown passed away March 16, 2016 at his home. He was born June 9, 1941 in Nirvana, OH son of the late Donald Huffman and Rosalie Bolyard.

Donald served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Andy Brother’s Tire Shop and Brown Equipment and Machine Company. Don liked professional wrestling, football, car racing and working outdoors. He loved his three dogs, Thunder, King and Willie. They will miss him dearly.

Don is survived by his wife of 43 years, Louella May Boylard, son, Donald Eugene Brand and wife Karen of Clarksburg and step daughter, Mary Rashott and husband Joe of Lampasas, TX; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister-in-law Barbara Tennant of Cassville, brothers-in-law Ronnie McGilton and wife Diana, of Independence; Roger McGilton and wife Diana of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father Junior Brand and step-son Willard ‘Junie’ Layman.

Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Willard Rowan officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery with military honors conducted by the WVANG, Camp Dawson and Westover VFW Post 9916.
