Diana Lynn Mcgilton

Diana Lynn McGilton, 72, of Independence, WV, passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 13, 1952, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Clovis C. and Evelyn Uphold Lewis.

Diana is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronnie McGilton; her daughters, Renee and husband Roger (Bud) Hawkins and Susie Kisner; son, Robert ‘Bobby’ and wife (Deni) Lewis; grandchildren, Garrett, Dillian, Hannah, Ceirria, Landon, Trenton, Calvin Jr., and Tierra; brother, Roger Lewis and brother-in-law, Roger (Diana) McGilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Rebecca Tonkins, daughter Debbie Miller, brother Bob Lewis, and sister Pauline Lewis.

Diana was a dedicated employee at Family Vision and a faithful member of the Church of God on Grafton Road.

Friends and family will be received at Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, and again on Tuesday, November 26, from 10 AM until the service at 11 AM with Pastors Tonya and Gregg Orr officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
