She was spontaneous and fun-loving, which made every day an adventure.
Diana Lynn Weese Gallagher Livengood, born on January 3, 1949, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2026, at the age of 77. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Lee Livengood, and parents, Boyd K. Weese, Sr., and Mary Kathryn Zinn Weese Randolph.
Diana dedicated many years of her professional life as an administrative secretary, where her organizational skills, attention to detail, and warm personality made her a valued colleague. Throughout her career, she worked for the West Virginia Division of Highways, the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services, and later with a head and neck diagnostic medical practice, where she remained until her retirement. She took pride in her work and the friendships she made along the way.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Reay Gilmore; son, Sean (Ashli) Gallagher; and a beloved sister to, Raymond (Janet) Weese and Boyd K. (Irene) Weese, II.
Diana will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren, including Rachel (TJ) Elchuck, Amy (Paolo) Alvarez, Sean Thomas, and Scot Gallagher; she was Nanny to her great-grandchildren, Cecelia and Carson Elchuck, and Theodore Alvarez, arriving soon.
Nana was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend whose love knew no bounds. Her kind heart and warm smile made everyone feel welcome. She was spontaneous and fun-loving, which made every day an adventure. She was an avid animal lover and had a way of bringing people together with her compassionate spirit.
Friends and family will gather on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Morgantown, WV 26501, from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM, with Pastor Bob Sisler officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
