Dennis Eugene Blosser

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Blosser on August 2, 2026 at the age of 84.

Dennis dedicated many years to hard work, beginning a career at a local glass factory before continuing at General Electric, where he remained until his retirement. He was respected for his strong work ethic, dedication and commitment throughout his career.

Outside of work, Dennis found his greatest joy in spending time outdoors and making memories with family and loved ones. He had a lifelong passion for music, especially playing the guitar and singing, bringing happiness to those fortunate enough to hear him.

Dennis is survived by his beloved son Dennis (Tara) Blosser; daughter Tammy (Cecil) McDonald of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Christopher McDonald (Laurie), Ceann (Eric) Nicholson, and Makayla (Daniel) Vernon; and his five great -granddaughters, Kendyl, Rylee, Laurynn, Keera and Tagen. He shared a particularly special bond with his great-granddaughter, Tagen, who brought him immense joy during his final years.

He is also survived by his siblings, Wanda Blalock, Gary (June) Blosser, and Robert (Nancy) Blosser; three stepchildren; step grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Dennis was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage; his second wife; Mary, with whom he shared 16 years; his parents, Clark and Ruby (Davis) Blosser; and his brothers Raymond and Harold Blosser.

A life well lived leaves a legacy of love that time cannot erase. Dennis's love for his family, his strong work ethic, and the music he shared with others will continue to echo through the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Following the service Dennis will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
