Delores Jean Menear

Delores Jean Herrington Menear, 67 of Morgantown, daughter of the late Edward William and Mary Louise Herrington passed away on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at the Monongalia General Hospital. Delores Jean was born on October 4, 1943 in Morgantown. She was employed at the Mon County Board of Education as a cook for 30 years at the time of her retirement. She leaves behind her children Diana Lynn and husband Rick Watkins; Randy Blosser and her very special son Mathiew Menear. Also surviving is one brother Robert Herrington and wife Carol all of Morgantown and her faithful canine companion Bridgette. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Menear; two sisters Mary and Shirley and one brother Gary. She has several nieces and nephews, with a special goodbye to Terry Lynn Rice, who was very special to her. Jean would also like to say so long to her Girls Night Out Club,' Pat, Sue, Ann B., Ann M., Donna, Mary Lou, Emma, Jane and Mary D., and a special friend Darla. Most of all to Mary Loughry, thank you for being a wonderful friend to Jean. To honor Jean's request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation was provided by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
