Della Mae Woods

Della Mae Woods, 77, of Grafton Rd. passed away Wednesday January 19, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born June 1, 1933 in Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Mary Angell. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Robert Woods; daughter Sonia Barto and husband Louie of Brookhaven; three sons Robert Woods, Jr. of Grafton Rd., Charles Woods and wife Karen of Morgantown, and John Woods and wife Chanda of Grafton Rd.; two half-brothers Rudy Angell and friend Kenny of Dunbar, PA and Ray Angell and wife Patty of Hudson, OH; a half-sister Mary Kay Hornsby and husband Ron of Ravenna, OH. Della is also survived by 11 grandchildren Christopher Barto and wife Claudia, Douglas Barto and wife Marcella, Charles Woods, Jr., Joey Woods, Emily Woods, Melissa Woods, Sarabeth Woods, Brittany Woods and husband Mike, John Michael Woods, Courtni Woods, and Jonathan Ray Woods; four great grandchildren Chelsea Renae Stevenson, Matthew Woods, Payton Woods (whom is expected soon), and Benjamin Giuliani; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a son Darrell Woody' Woods and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. To honor Della's wishes there will be no services and cremation will be provided by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
