Debra L. Miller

Debra L. (McGilton) Miller, 44, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Wednesday February 22, 2017 at her home. Debbie was born in Morgantown on January 8, 1973. She is the daughter of Ronnie and Diana (Lewis) McGilton and Fonda Glover.

Debbie attended Morgantown High School. She was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her daughters and family. She loved camping and fishing with her best friend and companion. She was a loyal WVU and Steelers fan. She loved music and shopping. She especially loved bargain shopping, Facebook shopping, and yard sales. Debbie lived her life to the fullest, the way she wanted.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters Hannah and Ceirria Miller of Independence; her companion and best friend Chris Smith of Morgantown; sister Renee and husband Roger Hawkins of Independence; brother Bob and wife Deni Lyn Lewis of Morgantown; and sister Susie Kisner of Independence; nephews and niece Garrett and Dillon Hawkins, Trent and Landon Lewis, Calvin Blosser, Teirria Walker; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Clovis and Evelyn Lewis, Homer and Lucy McGilton, and Gorman and Georgia Glover.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday February 27, 2017 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at Nicholson Chapel from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am with Pastors Tonya and Greg Orr officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
