Deborah 'susie" Smith Lee, 70 of Masontown, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 22, 2019. She was born July 31, 1949, in Summersville, WV, a daughter to Wardie and Lottie Sigmon Smith. Deborah retired from the Herald-Standard as a graphic artist, where she was responsible for ad design. She held a Bachelor of Arts degree from California University of Pennsylvania and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She also worked at Romeo & Sons of Uniontown, designing flyers and ads. She enjoyed trips to Ohio Pyle and Jumonville, which gave her inspiration for her art. Susie is survived by her daughters, Debbie Christine Lee, of Morgantown and Jennifer Plumley and husband Bob; grandchildren Abbigail and Tyler all of Crucible, PA. Also, surviving are four sisters and one brother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers. Honoring Susie's wishes cremation was arranged by the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home of Morgantown. A gathering of remembrance will be held at The Foundry Church, 432 High Street Morgantown, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 11 am with Pastor Justin Myers officiating.
