Deborah Irene Shinkovich

Deborah Irene ‘Debbie’ Shinkovich, 64, of Jere, passed away Saturday October 24, 2020 at Mon Health Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born April 20, 1956 in Baltimore, MD a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Brady Nicholson.

Debbie enjoyed her regular beach trips to Daytona Beach, enjoyed shopping for country crafts, and loved her animals, especially her cats. Most of all, Debbie was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a former treasurer of the Mt. Morris Sportsman Association.

She is survived by her beloved husband Richard ‘Rich’ Shinkovich; son Richard Shinkovich, II and wife Dawn; daughter Rachael Johnson and husband Mark all of Jere; grandchildren Tyler Shinkovich, Richard ‘Trey’ Shinkovich, III, Colin Shinkovich, Spencer Johnson; brothers Ronald Nicholson of Georgia, James Nicholson of Morgantown; sister Terry Hancock of Texas; and two special friends Asha McCormick and Candy Lohiser both of Mt. Morris, PA.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by a brother Edward Nicholson.

Honoring Debbie’s wishes, cremation is being arranged by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
