Deborah Lynn Nunley

September 1, 1958 — June 20, 2016

Deborah Lynn ‘Debbie’ Nunley, 57, of Core, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior with family at her side on Monday June 20, 2016. She was born September 1, 1958 in Morgantown daughter to the late Geno and Betty Keener Trentini.

Debbie was a graduate of Clay Battelle High School. She was a devoted homemaker and very dedicated to her field of expertise. She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Morgantown ENT and most recently at Mountaineer Vision as a receptionist until her health would no longer allow.

She was also very active in her faith. She was a member of the Wadestown United Methodist Church where she was very involved with many church activities and volunteer projects. One special ministry that was close to her heart was ‘Home Visitations’ with her Pastor. She looked forward to sharing the gospel and fellowship with other believers.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Donald E. Nunley; two sons, Donald A. and Keith E. Nunley, both of Core, WV; one daughter, Summer Rowan and husband Kenneth of Mt. Morris, PA; grandchildren Breanna D. Rowan and Marcus A. Rowan; two sisters, Betty Varner of Morgantown, Joann Eddy of Fairview and one brother, John Trentini of Morgantown.

Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday June 23, 2016 from 4pm until 8pm and on Friday at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Wadestown, from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Rose Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Amedysis Hospice Nurses who gave compassionate care to Debbie over the last several weeks.
