Debbora Jo Maxwell

Debbora Jo (Debbie) Johnson Maxwell, 55, of Morgantown, West Virginia passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 26th at Mon General Hospital, after a long illness. Debbie was born July 5th, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Odis Brown Johnson, and of Elizabeth J. Kisner and Alvin M. Kisner of Laurel Point, WV. Debbie attended Morgantown High School, was a lifelong member of the Democratic Party, and lived in Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia during her lifetime. She loved taking care of her garden flowers, fishing and camping with her family, and playing with her grandchildren. Her abiding strength and deep compassion for others were an inspiration to all her family members and friends, and her gentle voice will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Debbie is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Eugene Maxwell, and her children; daughter Brandy Heinze and her fiancé Benjamin Lewis, of Morgantown; son James Heinze Jr. and his wife Pamela Heinze, of Port Republic, Virginia; daughter Alicia Johnson and her fiancée Lucille Mayfield, of Morgantown; adopted daughter Debra Linder of Morgantown; and stepdaughters Darla Ervin and Ashley Maxwell of Morgantown. She is also survived by her brothers Ronald and David Kisner, and Lawrence Johnson; her sisters, Joann Mathess, Susie Bosley, and Mary Hiser; her grandchildren James, Brendan, Amanda, Issach, Jeramiah (Charlie), Alexus, and Logan; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband James Allen Heinze Sr.; her sister, Donna Kisner; and her infant grandson, Larry Johnson Jr. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Wednesday October 31, 2012 from 7-9pm. A memorial service to celebrate her life and mourn her loss will begin at 8pm Wednesday.
